Setting up was easy peasy and we were ready to roll on the carpets! I started with the stairs because that is our highest traffic area and they needed a good scrub. Make sure you go over all you carpets with a regular vacuum to try to get as much fluff and pet hair as you can before you start. Using the hose and nozzle attachment I worked my way up the stairs and was happy with the length of the hose. I could do almost the entire flight except for the last stair and then I just moved the machine to the top landing.
Now I did some work with the upright machine, I find it heavy and a little awkward to work with, I had trouble with it spitting dirty water out the back. But it did clean the carpets well.
Now it was time to start on the furniture which is what I was really hoping it would tackle well. we have finger prints and dirty marks all over the furniture. I used the same attachment piece as I used on the stairs and went to work. This time instead of using the carpet cleaner, I used a mixture of oxy clean and water. I am happy to say that this did a fabulous job!
