Easter Nest Cookies

An easy Easter Nest Cookie with Cadbury Mini Eggs and chow mein noodles

We weren’t having any company this Easter so a fancy dessert wasn’t necessary, I got poking around on the Kraft Canada website and knew these Nest Cookies were the perfect treat that the kids could make for Easter. My husband loves a similar cookie at Christmastime (sans eggs of course) that his mom used to make before she passed away, so this was a nice way to incorporate that into celebrating Easter.

What You Need

1 pkg. (8 squares) Baker’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate
*(I used most of one package of semi-sweet chocolate chips instead because I already had those on hand)
2 cups chow mein noodles
1 pkg. (115 g) Cadbury Mini Eggs

Make It

MICROWAVE chocolate in large microwaveable bowl on MEDIUM 2 to 3 min. or until almost melted; stir until completely melted. Stir in noodles.
DROP heaping tablespoonfuls of noodle mixture onto parchment- or waxed paper-covered baking sheets; indent centres slightly to resemble nests. Fill with Mini Eggs.

REFRIGERATE 2 hours or until firm
*(we actually put these right in the freezer to firm up and stored them there too, they tend to melt quickly in little hands and can be a bit messy to eat, so I found the firmer the better)
