Okay, I’m just going to give you a minute to get past the fresh out of the shower bad 90′s perm. Done laughing? Ready to move on?
Alrighty then, this is me at age 18. I was on a trip to Australia and friends of the family I was staying with rescued animals. They had two joeys in their care and I was lucky enough to go over for a visit, to bottle feed and hold the baby Kangaroos! It was really amazing!

Are you kidding me? For real you visited Australia, had a perm and rescued animals?? I adore you even more now. You are my hero. How cool would that have been? Must show my kids this picture later. They are already convinced they will be grown up versions of Dora’s cousin Diego because rescuing animals is the best job ever.
