Pros and Cons of the Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment Razor

Back in March I gave 25 lucky individuals a chance to test drive their own Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment razor and report back to me on their findings. Did they love it? Did they hate it? Would they buy it again? Recommend it to a friend?

I was anxious to hear what they would say!

For being the good sports that they were, I put each of their names in a hat when their review came in and it was Trish to win herself a handy little $50 Visa Gift Card to go shopping with! Congratulations! That could keep you well stocked on Schick razors for some time!! lol

This was Trish’s review:

“What a treat it was to test out the new Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment razor! With extremely dry, sensitive skin shaving can be almost painful. The moisture strips on disposable razors are not enough to protect and comfort my skin. I was pleasantly surprised by how moisturizing and soothing the Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment razor was. My legs felt smooth and silky and required less after-shower lotion than usual. I will most definitely purchase this product again.”

And here’s a look at the over all consensus with a pros and cons break down:

The People have spoken!

Pros:
It just glided along nicely. I came out of it with no knicks or cuts at all!
I LOVED ths razor from the first glide! It was so smooth and easy to use!
My legs felt silky smooth after shaving.
I didn’t need to use shave gel.
I adore the wonderful scent (reminds me of being on a beach).
I love that it has a handy holder to place it in, in the shower.
I was nervous not to use shaving creme but my skin was very soft afterwards.
I loved not having to use shaving cream and I was able to take minutes off of my shaving in the shower every morning.
No need for shaving gel so ideal for traveling!
Smells fabulous! One sniff and I was transported to a tropical beach.
It came with an extra blade. Which is a huge bonus!
I love it… would definitely purchase one in the future!
I loved the fact that using this razor cut down on time for me.
Very smooth and easy to use; wet it and your skin and your good to go!
Nice shape, nice color.
It is extremely soft, you barely even feel like you are shaving at all!
It’s best feature is the way it makes my legs feel soft and smooth after!

Cons:
Now that I’m hooked, I’m just nervous on how much refills will cost…
The cover was kind of silly to get on
The handle is made for people with large hands
I prefer the old method I have done for years Using one of my husbands old razors and adding new blades.
After a week of using one blade every day, the razor began to pull at my skin.  The foam bar at the bottom had nothing left on it while the top had lots.
The prices of the razor and blades are competitive with other products.  But the lubricant doesn’t last long enough to make buying this product worthwhile.
Bulky. While the handle fit nicely in my hand, the head was a bit awkward and top heavy.
After a couple rinses under the shower head, the handle became slippery and hard to hold onto.
Because of so much of the soap on the outside the shave isn’t as close as with other razors.
Very bulky & there’s nowhere to really put the lid when you start shaving.

And there you have it! My readers were honest and genuine and provided some really great feed back for you all!

Have you tried the Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment Razor??

Comments

  1. I found that the Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment Razor made it easy to shave my legs in the shower, no shaving gel required with this razor

  2. I had the opportunity to try them out as well! I really liked the moisture bar and how you could put a cap on it. I guess I have big hands so a bigger handle is alright by me. 🙂
