Spring really took her time getting here this year, but she’s slowing starting to show her face more and more each day. I even have a few daffodils smiling at my in my front garden!
It’s Spring Cleaning time once again, and I have mixed feelings about it all. It IS cleaning after all and who really wants to do that??? On the other hand, I love giving the house a good cleaning, inside and out and creating a nice fresh start to the warm weather.
There’s so much to be done!
Windows are probably the biggest chore to tackle, from the outside anyway, but I love a nice clean window to let in all the sunlight!
For curtains and couches, its super easy to give them the once over with some Frebreze with Gain.
Blinds are horrible for trapping dust and dirt! Use the Swiffer Duster for easy clean up!
Clothes and Closets are my favourite seasonal chore. I love tucking away Winter coats and going through the boys clothes. When one boy grows out of something it goes right into the dresser of the next one down and finally into a box to be donated. It’s bittersweet to see favourite items make their way through each boy and out of the house. Use Gain Fireworks Scent Booster in your load of Winter gear before tucking them away so they stay fresh in the closet and when Summer items come out of the closet, give them a boost with Frebreze Fabric Refresher.
Changing the Sheets can be hard on the Hubs, he looooves his flannel and fleece sheets and holds on to them until the last possible moment before finally letting me make the switch to cool Summer sheets. I always wash both sets, the Winter and Summer with Gain Fireworks Scent Booster.

I have been busy with spring cleaning since early March, but I do have one last task left: go through the contents on and in my dresser, and weed out what I no longer want.
