Meet Iron Doom and Dixeltron!! Two brand new, never seen before super heroes created by the Mom vs. the Boys crew!
My boys had seen the commercial for the new Marvel Super Hero Mashers and were “Super” excited to try them out! Already a fan of Marvel characters, how fun would it be to create your very own right?? With a one box featuring Dr. Doom and the other holding all things necessary for Iron Man Patriot, my boys got to work changing and rearranging the arms, legs, heads, chests, weapons and cape until they had their very own super dudes all figured out.
The younger boys aged 4 & 5, needed moms help attaching some of the body parts, but the 7 year old managed okay on his own. The suggested age for this toy is 4 and up, and there were very few small parts. We were really impressed to see that even Dr. Dooms cape had holes so that the pieces that fit onto the backs of other characters could be used with the cape as well. Very clever.
13 figures will be available in the Marvel Super Hero Mashers assortment in 2014, some favourites include Spider-man, Green Goblin and Captain America! There is also a Marvel Super Hero Mashers Battle Upgrade with 7 different figures including Hulk, Thor and Venom!
The boys had a lot of fun with the Marvel Super Hero Mashers! My oldest is a bit of a perfectionist and after all the giggling and creating, he insisted they go back to their original state! lol Either way, they will continue to have a some great new adventures with their super heroes!

I know many friends who children love superheroes and being able to create there own…. well I think that is awesome!!!!! Looks like I just got a great birthday idea for the superhero fans in my life.
