Canon Canada has organized a collection of key photo opportunities by age within your baby’s first year. Not only that but it provides parents with tips, tricks and ideas on what special moments to capture in their child’s life.
The facebook app is simple use, just choose the age of your baby, 0-3mo, 4-6mo, 7-9mo or 10-12mo
Next – Choose a photo from the suggestions of keepsake photos during that time
Click on the image and you’ll receive more information such as the best time to take the photo, the best lenses, how to set up the shot, how to achieve the perfect lighting and more!
When my first baby was born, I already had my hands on a great little Canon Rebel for travel shots, but taking pictures of babies was something I had never done before! This was a whole new territory and I had no idea where to start, inside lighting, positioning wiggly babies, and having to set up shot was way beyond me and I would have been grateful to have the Baby Moments app to walk me through it all. Just thinking about all the pictures that didn’t turn out or were missed completely, makes me want to go back and do it all again (only without the lack of sleep bit, I’m done with that!)
If you have a baby on the way, this is the perfect time to take a peek and get a few ideas, but even if your baby’s first year is almost over, it’s never too late to grab your camera and start snapping!

Oh what a brilliant idea!!! I have a new nephew coming. My SIL use to be married to a photographer, so they have amazing photos of the older 2, but this new one they will need more help with!
it would be awesome to have a photographer in the family, but this should help too (now that he’s not!)
This app would of came in super handy with both my young boys. I struggled all the time to get the perfect shot as they were moving to much or not much there was never an in between. With four pregnant ladies I know I will be sure to be sharing this fantastic app:) Thanks so much!

Love this I have a canon rebel but am just getting use to it not very good yet but going to check out this app. I love taking pics of Bella and my sister just had a baby and my partners sister is due in September so definitely sharing with them 🙂
