I decided to check out Step-by-Step Cake Decorating, because I love to make really fun cakes for my boys’ birthdays! It’s a lot of work but the look on their faces when the cake comes out is all worth it!

The cakes in this book are gorgeous and far above my skill level, but it was really fun to read and some of the tips will come in handy. My boys actually LOVED this book too! They spent hours looking at all of the cakes, and picking ones out they would like to eat and make! lol

I love idiot guides and I’m not afraid to say so!! I’d really love to try the cake decorating one! I suck at making things pretty so I would get a lot of use out of that one!
