The boys started asking about the Elf’s return a couple of weeks ago, apparently an Elf has joined the Kindergarten classroom and my youngest wanted to know why our Elf hadn’t come this year. Eventually, he surprised them one morning by cuddling up with his book on the rocking horse and he’s been on the move each night! Jingles is the highlight of every morning as the boys search for his new location, my youngest even found some jingle bells to jingle around the house looking for him….. by the way, his name is Jingles lol and he’s a sweet little thing, and not a naughty elf like some others I’ve seen! Mostly it’s a fun game of hide and seek for us!

Keep calm and Jingle on Jingles!
So Jingles thought he was being nice by bringing the boys candy canes Sunday morning, but this one kind of back fired! Daddy refused to give them their candy canes for breakfast and the boys got upset that Jingles used a swear. Apparently, Heck is a bad word and should not be used and “Mommy, why would Jingles say that!!!?” was hard to answer lol Who knew they would look past the candy canes and focus on the text. sigh…. some days do not go as planned for the little elf!

We don’t have an Elf yet, but I’m definitely planning on it for next year, my girl will be at the perfect age to really love it!

I wonder how some people have time to be so creative! I barely remember to move him each night!
I know I would forget a couple times, but hubby is clever and witty enough to come up with something to cover our tracks. He’s good like that lol.
