Gifts for Creative Kids with Qixels

My boys love love love Minecraft and they also love creating with perler beads, so when I discovered this new toy called Qixels from Imports Dragon, I knew it was going to be a holiday winner at our house!

The problem with perler beads is that I have to haul out my iron every time the boys are finished with a project and more times than not, it sits on our shelf unfinished because mommy hates getting her iron out! So this is not only a win for the kids but for mom too because these little beads fuse together with just WATER! Can I get an Amen?!

No Heat, No Glue, No Mess! PLUS Qixels have some really fun products to go with the beads like the Fuse Blaster Water Gun ($14.99) and the Qixels Turbo Dryer ($19.99)

  • Lay the Qixels out in the Fuser station, spray with water and close the lid. Then press the plunger to set the station spinning, air-drying the Qixels in record time!
  • Pack includes 1 x Turbo Dryer 500 x Cubes 2 x Design Trays 4 x Design Templates 2 x Display Stands 2 x Display Bases 2 x Plug in Accessories 1 x Bag Tag & Thread 1 x Storage Tray 1 x Water Sprayer 1 x Instruction Booklet
  • No batteries needed

If you’ve ever stuffed your hand into a tub of perler beads to find a specific colour, you’ll know how awesome that sorting tray is! Having all the colours separated makes the creating faster and frustration free! I like that the boys can choose from coloured templates to create dragons, ninjas and rockets OR they can use their own imaginations to create whatever comes to mind.

Thanks to Qixels the boys can build and blast their very own pixel worlds to life!

The products mentioned above were provided free of charge. Regardless, I was not obligated to feature this item and all opinions expressed belong to Mom vs. the Boys and are not influenced in any way.

I keep seeing these, and I can’t decide if they’re a good idea or not. After the design is all made is it fragile?
