This is what my evening looked like last night. ‘Tis the season to snuggle by the fireplace with a glass of wine in one hand and sharpie in the other, ready to circle all the items that I have on my pile of Christmas wish lists. Lucky for me, the Best Buy Black Friday Sale flyer was a whopping 24 pages long and chock full of great deals!
This morning I took the foggy drive into the city to hit up the Best Buy store in person, the parking lot was packed and the store was bustling when I got there, but everyone seemed to be in good spirits and enjoying their shopping. The store had lots of staff on hand to answer questions and get everyone checked out quickly. I got some help from Shaun, who had just arrived himself for his shift and was already hitting the ground running. He mentioned that yesterday was a very busy day with some Pre Black Friday sales happening and today was going to be even crazier.
Straight at the top of my shopping list was the PlayStation 4 500 GB Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Bundle on sale for $50 off. This was my must-get item for the boys’ Christmas present and anything else was just a bonus. I was relieved to find they still had lots in stock. Shaun let me know that the bundle only came with one controller and that our current controllers would not work with the new system. He quickly showed me where the PS4 controllers were and mentioned that the black friday 4 day deal was pretty much the lowest they ever go at $25 off so I grabbed two DualShock 4 Wireless Controllers because it’s no fun to play alone. The PS4 bundle comes with an adult game that they boys won’t be able to play (though Daddy loves the Uncharted series and is quite happy), so they were going to need a couple of new games to play on it. They had a ton of games on sale and I picked out NHL 17 for $30 off as well as LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens for $20 off. I was feeling pretty good with my shopping, I got all the Playstation gear I needed to surprise the boys with on Christmas morning and everything was on sale!
Now that I had the kids taken care, there was one thing I wanted to pick up for myself, because Mama loves to snap pictures and it wouldn’t be Christmas morning if my memory card wasn’t full! Best Buy has the Sony 64GB SDXC UHS-1 Class 10 Memory Card on sale today for $22.99 which is a savings of $42! I had to get one!
