Hot Chocolate Brownies

“Mommy, can I have some hot chocolate to feel me better?”

How many times have I heard my little guys say this? Countless times. It started around the time my oldest was four and had just started kindergarten, it would often be the first words out of his mouth as he walked in the door from school on a cold winter’s day. Soon after, the other boys would pick up the phrase and it became their little thing to ask for, not just on cold days, but when they were feeling down, or just needed a little something special to “feel me better”.

So hot chocolate became our own secret love language and it became my inspiration to #StirThingsUp for a little after school treat. Carnation Hot Chocolate Brownies are a sweet way to feel anyone better!

Hot Chocolate Brownies - Mom vs the Boys

Carnation hot chocolate is made with real cocoa making these brownies the perfect chocolatey treat for adults and kids alike, just be sure to use smaller portions for kids’ smaller bellies . The brownies are dense and chewy with a pillow soft topping of toasted marshmallows. Pair one of these with a side bowl of fruit for a tasty “feel me better” treat.
