Activities for Kids in Toronto!

Summer will be here before we know it, are you looking for some fun activities to do with the Kids in Toronto? The city has lots of fun to offer to families. From thrilling adventure, getting up close with the animals or having a relaxing picnic Toronto has it all!

Here are some of the top attractions in Toronto:

 

Toronto Island – Take the ferry over to the beautiful Toronto Island. Bring your bike and pack a picnic for a fun filled day. Explore Franklin Children’s Garden or head over to Centreville to check out the amusement rides. Not matter what you decide the Toronto Island is the perfect place to spend a nice sunny summer day.

 

CN Tower – Take the whole family Up, Up, Up the CN Tower! And look Down, Down, Down over 1,100′ feet on the glass floor! Spend some time taking in the views of the city on the observation deck or have a nice dinner at the 360 restaurant!

 

Toronto Zoo – Let your little animals go WILD at the Toronto Zoo! Visit over 16,000 creatures, including the newest exhibit – the Giant Pandas! Monkey around with the monkeys and gorillas and chill with the penguins. Every day is an adventure at the Zoo!

Canada’s Wonderland – Have a little thrill seeker on your hands? Well then is the place for you! With over 65 rides including 16 roller coasters you are sure to find a exhilarating ride just for them. If it is a hot day make sure you bring your bathing suit to cool down in the 20 acre water park.

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Opens in Toronto @LDCToronto

Last week my family was invited in for a sneak peek of the coveted LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, the first and only venue of it’s kind in Canada. Legoland Discovery Centre Toronto

There’s been a lot of buzz from Torontonians about the arrival of LEGOLAND, and as parents of three Lego obsessed fans, we were pretty excited to give them the chance to be one of the first kids to walk through the Lego-man shaped doors of LEGOLAND!

Our jaws dropped when we got our first look at the LEGO MINILAND, complete with famous Toronto (and Ontario) landmarks. I’ve been following the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Facebook page for awhile now, so I knew we were about to see some fun lego landmarks but I had no idea they would go to this extent! It was truly amazing, with working lights and vehicles that actually drove around the city streets. I think the adults were just as much, or even more, interested in this area since we could pick out buildings that we were familiar with!
