That’s one cute chick ~ Easter Chick Craft using handprints!

Easter Chick Craft using kids Handprints

We were getting into the Easter spirit this morning and made some pretty cute chickies!

Easter Chick Handprint Craft

Here’s how it’s done:
Cut out a pair of legs and a triangle for the beak in orange constuction paper or cardstock
Cut out a large oval in yellow
Trace your child’s hands in yellow- Since I had two big boys working on the project I used the same dark yellow as the body for Big Brother’s hands and did Middle Man’s hands in a lighter yellow
2 large googly eyes.

Fold the triangle in half to make a beak. Glue all the pieces together to form a cute little chicky.

And here you have it! 2 cute chicks!

well, Middle Man’s has a bit of an eye deformity but, hey, he’s not even 2, he actually did pretty good and didn’t eat too much glue in the process!

Just a note: The ugly tablecloth you see there is just for crafts and playdough! lol everytime I post a picture, I cringe thinking someone actually thinks that it is on my table all the time! lol
