Turning 30 Sucks!

Don’t even think for a second that I am turning 30, I wish! lol that milestone has come and gone years ago! lol
It’s actually one of our Aussie Uncles that had the big 3-0 and this is a simple little gift that the boys and I mailed to Oz for the occassion

This fun little DIY gift will work for any milestone birthday and was adapted from a project I saw on Pinterest.

* Grab a bundle of suckers, any kind will do, but I liked these Toostie Pops (tho if you use a blow pop, you could easily use the phrase, Turning 30 Blows as well)
* Wrap an elastic around the sticks to secure them and then go over the elastic with a nice ribbon and curl ends
* Make a little sign out of coloured paper and voila! Easy peasy birthday gift!

For the record I didn’t have issues with 30, It was an amazing year actually, but now 40 might be a tough pill to swallow! lol

OMG, I love this. I’m gonna have to do this. I’m coming closer to my 30th, I have a feeling it won’t suck tho. 30 is the new 20, 40 is the new 30 and so and so on. Haha! 🙂

That is a really cute gift for those turning 30…I recall not at all liking the fact that I turned 30…even though that ship sailed long ago. For me, turning 30 marked a time where I realized I was no longer a ‘young’ woman even though in retrospect, 30 would seem quite young to me now. The years after 30 have flown by as I suspect they will continue to do. I really do wish I had known at 30 what I know now…I have another birthday the end of this month and in a couple of more years I will be saying 50 sucks. 🙂

  14. Me too! Not sure I’ll quite like 40 but anyways….

I love this idea! And I know just who to give it to.

  15. Ha! Should’ve made this for a friend a couple years ago.

  16. Love it! My husband is hitting the big 4-0 soon, so I have to make some plans!
