Soft, non-hydrogenated margarine, like Becel® Buttery Taste, contains 80 per cent less saturated fat than butter, and has zero trans-fat. Traditionally when we think of foods that contain good fats, we think of avocados, salmon, nuts and seeds. But it’s important to remember that soft, non-hydrogenated margarine, like Becel®, made from a blend of plant oils is also part of the good fats family. No matter what you bake this holiday season, replace butter with margarine 1:1 in any recipe — it’ll be one of the easiest changes you’ve ever made, and it’s great for your heart healthy diet, too.
