Style the Holidays with CHI

Whether you’re looking for some new tools to get dolled up this holiday season or need some gift ideas for the ladies in your life, I’ve got a couple of good suggestions from CHI that I’m includingin my Holiday Gift Guide this year!

Years ago I learned that you really need the right tools for the job when it comes to hair styling and buying a crappy cheap version isn’t going to cut. My hair is very very thin (thanks kids) but it’s also stubbornly wavey when left to it’s own devices and it really does take some convincing to straighten out. I spent my entire twenties trying to wrestle my hair with inexpensive department store hair straighteners and was never happy with the results. Once my husband gifted me with a CHI hair straightener I finally realized that maybe it wasn’t my hair but it was not having the best tool for the job. All those years cursing for nothing lol

CHI Onyx Euroshine 1″ Flat Iron

At first glance this is a showstopper flat iron! It has a sexy matte black finish with lots of bling in the light up display and it just looks so cool on my counter. I was instanstly impressed by very fast heat up time of just 30 seconds. Normally I plug in my iron and then leave the room to go get dressed and come back to finish my hair, but the CHI heated up so fast I could start to style right away. It has four inch extended iron plates that feature beveled rounded tips for ease of use plus the LED display is very user friendly. The cord is extra long for salon use, but since my washroom is small and my mirror is right beside the plug I keep the cord wrapped up with the included velcro tie which is handy. The flat iron comes with a thermal mat designed to protect surfaces when the iron is hot.

Once again the style and design of CHI is gorgeous! The powdered black body is soft and stylish and looks amazing out of thebox. The small attachment helps direct air flow and I found the tool gave me a fairly quick blow dry. It’s said to produce twice the ions for a sleek blow out. I found the large control switches a little uncomfortable and in the way, I’ve bumped them a number of times and changed the controls by accident. The handle is perfect for pointing away from you while drying someone else’s hair like when I style up the boys, but faced back toward your own body when your hand is reversed my palms go over the controls. 

Box tools come expertly packaged in magnetic flip top boxes and are ready for gift giving! 

To add to the package be sure to include a few CHI styling products such Hairspray, Silk Infusion for a shiny finish and if you are using heat products than you must use a good Iron Guard as well to protect your strands!
