My Mother in law passed away recently and while we are preparing for her funeral we are gathering photos of her for the service. Hmmmm….where are all those photos?????? For the record I am a lover of photography, I have hundreds and hundreds of pictures of my babies, but apart from that I really don’t take photos of anyone else. Not even people with the babies. We must do better than this. There are not even many of my husband or I with the babies and heaven forbid we unexpectantly pass away, it would be a real tragedy for the children not to have these memories. We have the token ‘baby meets grandma’ pictures for each of them, and a short few others with Big Brother because he is older and that’s where the pile ends. I can tell where we made an effort to get pictures of Great Grandma (my husband still has a grandma himself, lucky guy) because we are aware she may not be with us for many years to come and also we make an effort with the Aussie Uncle because his visits are few and far between, but one thing this has taught us is – we are not invincible. It really could have been anyone we know or love and we need to keep our memories preserved. Go ahead, get shootin’
