style="color: #073763;">Day #3 of the heat wave called for the secret slip and slide to be brought out of it’s hiding place in the basement. I bought it on a clearance sale at the end of last summer and was saving it for such a day as this. The boys were super excited about it!!! And I’m tellin’ ya, it was soooooo hot yesterday that even Mommy, yes were talking about me here, got into her bathing suit and took a few turns on the slip and slide!!! lol You just know it’s a Hotter than HOT day when I get into a swimsuit and dive into freezing cold water straight from the hose! Thank goodness that new fence is installed!!! I’m sure the neighbours would have just peed their pants laughing at that sight! and to top it off today I am actually sore from it ! talking about adding an insult to the whole thing! I’m sooo old! I get stiff and sore from playing with my kids! who knew the 30’s would be so rough! it’s all down hill from here! lol
