They should be longer shouldn’t they?
Here’s how we spent ours…..
Saturday was a cool but nice day and we got out for a couple of good plays in the backyard. The leaves are starting to fall and we made a good pile of them to jump in! Daddy, Big Brother and Middle Man each had their own rakes and the boys would make a pile only to destroy it and rake it up all over again! Little Buddy wasn’t a big fan of the leaves, he scrambled out of the pile as quickly as I could put him in it. I tried to get a great shot of all the boys in the leaves, but as always, they were unwilling to co operate.
Saturday night the Hubster went out to hear a friend’s band play. I didn’t mind one bit. The boys had baths and were tucked into bed before he left, leaving me with my PVR and Laptop- My two BFF’s!
I finally got around to watching the season premier of Grey’s Anatomy and caught up with some great blogs!
Sunday we headed to the city to return a few things to Walmart and the mall. Of course we bought a few things too! Why can we never leave Walmart without spending over $100?? Impossible for us, and it’s good we don’t go often!
I was happy to get some new bedding for the big boys’ room. It’s not really what I had envisioned, but I’ve been looking for about a year and couldn’t find anything I liked that was affordable. And don’t forget we need two of everything, because they share a room.
The Children’s Place had a good sale on this weekend + an email coupon they sent. I was able to grab 6 items for $25! Love a good sale!
I also started some Christmas shopping! Not counting the little things I’ve been grabbing for my own kiddos all year. Anyone else start shopping early?
The boys were so great while we were out and about, it was actually ‘enjoyable’ to shop as a family! Usually at least one of the three isn’t behaving! When we got home the babies hit the hay and Dad, Big Brother and I played a few rounds of Candy Land together. It was fun. A really nice weekend.
How was yours??
