Isn’t he cute? My boys sure thought so! I thought this would be the perfect crib companion for our 20 month old. He’s soft, he’s cuddly and he plays music. Somebody had a different idea though, It was my 2 1/2 year old who fell instantly in love and would not part with Monkey for days!
The really unique thing about the Mimicking Monkey is his recorder box which tucks into a pocket on his back. The box plays soothing sounds and fun monkey/jungle sounds that really won my boys over. But that’s not all, you can also record your own voice to play with the music and leave your baby any message you like. When I left all three of my boys a good night message with their names in it, you should have seen their faces! It was priceless! Mommy voice was coming from the monkey! Each boy took turns leaving messages for each other and Mommy and Daddy, it was really fun to hear what they would come up with!
