{Beauty Bash} The Body Shop Review

I’ve had a love affair with The Body Shop since I was a young teenager. Some of my first babysitting pay cheques were spent on bath beads, lip balm and oversized ‘against animal testing’ tees! Oh the days of having a disposable income!
So trust me when I say I was overwhelmed when The Body Shop agreed to partner with my blog to bring you a review and giveaway, a star struck happy dance, may or may not have occurred!

The Body Shop has changed it’s look and evolved over the years. They have matured and modernized with the times, but one thing that hasn’t changed is their strong values and dedication to Protecting Animals, Our Planet and Our People.

My all-time favourite Body Shop scent is the Pink Grapefruit! I was sad when it disappeared from the line up for a stint and thrilled when it returned.
Pink grapefruit seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids that help restore skin smoothness and suppleness while rebuilding the skins barrier function, plus it just smells fantastic! This scent is so clean and fresh it has a way of lifting my spirits and energizing me! Perfect for my sleepy morning showers or a mid day pick me up!

I was lucky enough to give the Body Butter, Body Lotion and Shower Gel all a test spin in the mouth watering Pink Grapefruit Scent!

Believe it or not this was my first Body Butter experience, I may be the last on the planet to try it out! (its that darn disposable income I talked about dwindling!) I had heard good things about it and it did not disappoint! It absorbed quickly and left a great fragrance behind!

The Body Lotion I use mostly for my dry Canadian winter hands. It’s a thinner formula than the rich body butter but once dry does a fantastic job of moisturizing and again, leaves a nice fragrance behind.

The Shower Gel was amazing, just a dab on a poof and you got tons of foamy bubbles! The best part is when you get out of the shower, the whole hot room has a delicious grapefruit fragrance! I hate to leave!
