Being a mom of 3, I run around with a good case of bed head on most days, Sad but true! I was really interested to see what Cover Your Hair had to help me tame my wild mess!
I was surprised by all the choices! They carry a wide variety of Headbands, Bandanas, Israeli Tichels, Hats, Bows, Clips…..and the list goes on….
I decided to stick with the headbands and choose two different styles.
The first was a Multi-Coloured Sequin Headband.
It is made of 100% sheer cotton and is covered in rows of shiny sequins! It measures 2 3/4 inches, so it’s quite wide. A little too wide for me, and I ended up folding over a little bit to make it slightly smaller. It was really easy to do that to give yourself a custom fit. It covers the hair nicely though, I love to wear this on days when I just haven’t got a shower in yet. It looks good and completely covers any dirty hair.
Personally I was worried about the one size fits all sizing, and was concerned that it might be too big. Hats and hair pieces almost never fit me because I have a child sized head! lol I didn’t have any problems at all though, the fit was fine!
I choose the Brown colour and love it, but it also comes in 3 other great choices- Black, Tan and Blue.
The second was the Elegant Silk Wide Headband
I really liked this one for it’s versatility. It comes in both Brown and Black and can be worn in two ways. First you can keep the material kind of scrunched up for a slimmer headband look or you can unfold the fabric to it’s fullest width at 6 inches and wear it more like a bandanna covering your whole head. It is made of 100% silk which sounds nice but may not be the strongest material because mine is already coming apart at the seems a bit. I love wearing this one while putting on make up or washing my face, because it does a great job of holding back all of my hair and keeping it out of the way. Again the fit was perfect.
