Sadly, I was not one of those people who were blessed with perfect hair. My hair is neither straight nor curly, it hangs somewhere in between- basically a wavy, fuzzy mess. The answer is a resounding YES! First off I just liked the looks of it, it is sleek and has an eye catching black and bright orange design. Very cool, I was excited to take it for a test drive and see what it could do.
Right away I liked the feel of the Avanti and my hair slid easily through the iron. The unit has various temp controls but I liked it at it’s fullest heat. The cord is nice and long, perfect if you are a stylist and using it in a salon and great for moms to as I am always peeking out the bathroom door to see what the kiddies are up to! The unit is light weight, only 1.08lbs and is a 1″ inch in width, which is what I would recommend getting.
I had no problems straightening my hair with the Avanti, it was quick and easy and I didn’t have to go over pieces again and again, one slide through was all it took and it provided a great shine! I would have no problems recommending this flat iron to a friend.
