Cascades Paper Products Review

Cascades is a brand I had seen on the store shelves before but kind of just looked over. Why? because I like to buy what I know. I am fairly brand loyal when it comes to certain things, ketchup, soap, and paper towel is one of them too. I have gone out on a limb and tried other paper towels in the past and it didn’t turn out so well, so even though I’d seen Cascades paper towel and knew it was a more environmentally friendly option, I stuck with the same old same old.

And then I was ask to review a couple of products from the Cascades line up and I didn’t hesitate to say yes. I love trying new things and if I could find a product that is better for the environment and works just as well as my usual brand, then I am all for!

I was sent the Cascades Paper Towels to try out and in the Mom vs. the Boys household, and well, the boys gave it a run for it’s money that’s for sure! We know allll about spills and clean ups around here!

My first impression was that it felt kind of rough and stiff. I actually didn’t have a lot of faith but it surprised me! It really did! The Cascades Paper Towel did a really good job at both cleaning up messes and at regular everyday household cleaning. I used it to clean all of our windows and only needed one sheet to do them all. They are very strong and hold up remarkably well when wet. They also come with the multi size option so you can choose if you need a small sheet or a big one. I actually save a lot this way, by only choosing the half sheet frequently.

Product details:

Bleached without chlorine.
This packaging is mostly made from recycled plastic and can be recycled.
Multi-size sheets.

I also got the opportunity to try the Cascades Bathroom Tissue. This is one product that is good for your bum and good for the environment! lol I really liked this product right from the start, it felt soft, it felt strong and it lived up to all it’s expectations! I liked that they are packaged in double rolls so I don’t have to change the roll very often. I really liked this toilet paper and will find myself choosing it again.

So, it’s good to try new things! Now that I know that I can choose a product that works great for me and is great for the environment, I will certainly not hesitate to choose the Cascades brand on my next shopping trip!
