As parents we are always searching for items that make our kids feel special and I don’t think anyone could argue that there is nothing more special than something personalized. But having said that, we rarely spoil ourselves with special personalized items for us!

I thought it would be fun to create a shirt with my Blog name- Mom vs. the Boys. Since I’ll be attending a couple of conferences this fall, I thought it would be a cute way for people to connect my face with my blog.
The design process was really easy. The Customized Girl website walks you through the whole process. You can add text, choose colours and even upload your own images. I was offered a set dollar amount and wanted a tee for this Tee Time event so I had to choose a more basic tee and was limited in colour choices. Worried about the shirt being see through I choose the grey thinking it would be a little darker than the white or pink options. It wasn’t. I was disappointed to find that the t-shirt material was very see through, even with plain white undergarments and instead of conferences I’ll be wearing this one to bed. I did really like the lettering and how easy it was to put together.
I still definitely recommend Customized Girl for all your personalized tee needs, just spend the extra money to get a higher quality tee, or choose a black to be safe.
