#EqualCanada Search for #CBias

So I finally did it, I made my way to the city to start some Christmas shopping. Being a week day I had to bring the little boys with me, the big guy was at school, but it still meant no shopping for them which is the bulk of the gifts. I was able to pick up a few others things though and cross at least one person off of our list. The little boys were so good for me during our excursion we hopped over to McDonald’s for lunch.

Have you seen these new McD’s? Apparently they have all been revamped (the ones in my city anyway) and they are now called McCafe’s. What makes it different? Wood panels, small fireplaces and funky seating to name a few.

My boys shared a Fruit and Fiber muffin and a Yogurt Parfait on this trip and helped themselves to my fries. Mama got herself a Big Mac! The world’s messiest big mac at that, pass the napkins!

Today I was on a little ‘shoppertunity’ mission for Collective Bias (#CBias), the goal was to see if Equal Sweeteners were offered at this location. While grabbing those napkins I scanned the area for the sweetener selection and was surprised to see that there wasn’t any there. I went straight to the staff to personally ask if they carried any Equal. She said yes of course and reached under the counter to provide me another type of sweetener. I let her know that I specifically preferred the Equal brand and was told no, they only carried the packet she handed me or regular sugar. @EqualCanada Fail at this @McD_Canada location.

With the day going well and not one melt down from the boys I tested my luck and headed for the Playroom. I actually hate this place, it provides little to no viewing aka: supervision from the ground and is not adult accessible so if your kiddos decide they aren’t ready to leave and won’t come down, you are pretty much at their mercy. I let them have a good play and convinced them it was time to head out without too much trouble this day!
