Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Review

Neutrogena is synonymous with acne skin care, when I was a teenager we were pretty well acquainted! lol so it doesn’t surprise me at all that Neutrogena is the #1 Dermatologist recommended skincare brand. These days, I’m taking a look at Neutrogena again.

Just when I thought those horrible acne years were over, my body did an about face and suffered some post baby hormone malfunction. ugh! Now well into my 30’s, acne has returned. I have to say that I was pretty much in denial over treating it to. I am far from a teenager, but most acne treatments are geared to teens so I stuck with my regular cleansers and hoped it would target my acne too. No surprise, I wasn’t getting good results.

Neutrogena has a line of products called Acne Stress Control.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control®products are specifically designed to make fighting acne one less stress! So advanced, it stops 70 percent of acne before it emerges. Formulated with MicroClear® technology, which cuts through dirt and oil and delivers 2 percent Salicyclic acid right to problematic areas – Neutrogena helps fight acne right where it starts. By reducing the visible signs associated with acne, such as irritation and redness, kids (and adults! lol) can feel confident about their skin.
I tried out the three products pictured above-
the Power-Gel Cleanser, Night Cleansing Pads, and the 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment.
I had good results with these products and I loved that each served a different purpose, the power-gel is a good facial soap with a nice light scent. The cleansing pads are perfect for when I am being tired and lazy at bedtime and the acne treatment is good for when a pimple has emerged. I gave Neutrogena a good testing. I used the products for about a month, including over pms my period which is when the majority of my break outs occur. While it couldn’t stop them all, I was really pleased with the results and I’m not in denial anymore. From now on I will be using Neutrogena to target my acne like I should have been doing all along.
Visit www.neutrogena.ca or pop over and see them on their new Neutrogena Canada Facebook Page to keep up to date on all the latest Neutrogena news.
I received the above mentioned products for reviewing purposes, all opinions expressed are my own.
