A few weeks back I found myself at the bulk barn stalking up on health food staples okay, it was candy. lol Few can resist the mini egg and chocolate covered almonds and I am not one of them.
Since we were headed for an over night trip to see Disney On Ice, I decided to find some fun treats for the boys so they wouldn’t be begging for all those crazy priced cotton candy and popcorn buckets at the show. Of course, they still did, but the candy bags softened the blow. I try.
On my travels through the treat aisle I found Lego Candy. This is nothing new and your kids might be fans already, in fact, many many moons ago I found myself on a road trip with some friends to Ohio and had this very candy in amongst my travel treats. I’m not sure how long we thought we were going for, but if there was a natural disaster we probably could have survived on our candy bags for months.
But now, as a mom of 3 boys who love love love playing with Lego, I knew I had hit the jackpot! They were super excited about the Lego shaped candy and it ended up being a great distraction during a painfully long wait at the passport office, as well as, the show. You can actually build with the Lego pieces! So Fun!
I can see this being used many times over with the boys including, additions to birthday loot bags and Easter hunts!
Check your local bulk food store for Lego Candy!
I love those and have seen them here too. And I love your blog! So cute!
