Being the Canadian Ambassador for Sesame Place certainly made our summer trip to Pennsylvania out of this world, but the down side is being too far away for all the media and mainstream festivities that happen throughout the year. Nothing pains me more than missing out on the spectacular Christmas event about to kick off- A Very Furry Christmas!!!
A VERY FURRY CHRISTMAS
SESAME PLACE
NOVEMBER 17TH – DECEMBER 31ST 2012
Doesn’t this look AMAZING???? I saw first hand that Sesame Place is a magical place on an ordinary but at Christmas time the whole park is transformed into a holiday wonderland! Just look at all those lights! This is the making of some very special Christmas memories!
The fun starts with 3 special Christmas shows, dry rides (weather permitting), awesome music and twinkling lights all around. Our street will glow with festivities and come to life at night with our illuminated Neighborhood Street Party Party Parade. And the fun continues with a special Christmas menu, super holiday shopping and, of course, a visit with Santa.
There are three Holiday Performances to take in during A Very Furry Christmas-
*A Sesame Street Christmas Show
*Elmo’s World Live! Happy Holidays show
*Elmo’s Christmas Wish Show
*1-2-3 Christmas Tree Show
Plus you do not want to miss The Neighborhood Street Party Christmas Parade! This was the highlight of our visit to the park and I can just imagine how fun a holiday themed parade would be! They will be caroling away to favorites such as Jingle Bells, Sleigh Ride, Let it Snow and Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer!
Say Cheese!
Santa’s Workshop is located in Trader Bert’s. Create memories that will last a lifetime during AVery Furry Christmas at Sesame Place. Kids and adults will enjoy interacting with a cheerful talking snow man before being greeted by joyful elf attendants who guide them inside A Very Furry Workshop as they eagerly await a visit with Santa Claus. Children are invited to sit on Santa’s lap and pose for a photo that will forever capture the memory of their Christmas experience at Sesame Place.
Visit the Sesame Place website for more information on price of admission and hours of operation.
Make this Christmas a Furry one!

I believe it was about 9 hours, might be less for you, I think Amanda said she was in PA this year and it took her about 6?
