I have fond childhood memories of attending camp when I was a kid. Friends of mine had been attending for years and after hearing all the fun stories of friendship and fun they came home with, I was convinced I wanted to go to! Finally, when I was in about the 6th grade, I had my chance to go and I discovered all the wonderful stories of camp were true, and then some! Campfires, silly songs, late night giggles and evening church in the woods, it all felt so special and heart warming. I only regretted not attending sooner!
