This past Sunday my family was treated to an afternoon Raptors game at the Air Canada Centre! You can imagine the excitement the news created from an all boy family like ours! This would be the first NBA game for not only the kids, but for Mom and Dad as well, and the whole family was pumped and ready to go!
The game begins with a lot of excitement, we watched some of the warm ups, the national anthems for both Canada and the United States as Toronto was playing the Atlanta Hawks that day and then they rolled out the HUGE Raptors flag and shot off some red fire!!! Super exciting! The teams took to the court!
I was a little worried about how long my boys would hold their interest for the game, but it really wasn’t a problem, there was so much action going on, there was plenty to look at! The Raptors mascot, who had been out all season with an injury made his big comeback Sunday and now joins his cousin Stripes who had been filling in for him as well as some adorable little DinoMites!
Raptor had no trouble supervising the Swiffer Crew either!! It’s fun to know that the same Swiffer we use on dust mites and dog hair at our house, is used to freshen up the court for the Toronto Raptors! The Swiffer Crew is fast, they had those floors wiped up in under 15 seconds!
A lucky winner even got to take their own Swiffer prize home to keep their house as spotless as the court! I was really surprised how many times that the floor was cleaned!
The Atlanta Hawks kept our Raptors on their toes and they stayed behind but fought to catch up the whole game! It was pretty exciting actually! Each time they caught up, they fell behind again, it kept the game pretty interesting! In the last few minutes of the game, the Raptors finally pulled ahead and took the lead! It was nail biting to see if they could keep it and they did!!! We danced and cheered along with the rest of the Raptors fans!! Everyone was on their feet for an exciting end to the game!

Looks like you guys had a blast! I remember going to NBA games when we had a team out here! I’m a huge swiffer lover myself!

That is a riot, what fun you all must have had! That is a hoot that they clean the floors so often, LOL. I would not have thought it was that important, but I guess Swiffer is to basketball what the Zamboni is to hockey!

Maybe I need the swiffer here, but I bet it was a fun night
