As all the little girl and boy elves are making their way back to their assigned homes this holiday season, I thought it would be fun for us to link up any Elf on the Shelf related posts you might have for inspiration and fun reading!
For those of you who are not familiar with the little dolls, the Elf is a small figure who comes with a book to explain his story. The “magic” begins once the elf is claimed by a family and given a name. Now the elf watches over your house during the daytime and flies back to the North Pole each evening to report the day’s activities to Santa. The kids are excited to find the elf in a new resting spot each morning and sometimes even plays little tricks or leaves treats upon his return.
While many adults find the elf a little creepy, there is no doubt that the kids get a real kick out of them and they are fun for the whole family to involved with!

We don’t have an elf but I do like seeing all the antics that other elf’s get into! I think it is a fun addition to the Christmas celebration!

we don’t have an elf….yet. I may consider it for next year, especially since seeing all the crazy photos everyone is posting of this crazy guy! Some of the places he ends up are just hilarious!
