When I was growing up my best friend lived right across the street from me and her mom always kept a bowl of Werther’s Originals in her formal livingroom for guests. When we were feeling particularily daring, we would challenge eachother to get in and get out, sight unseen, with a coveted gold foil wrapper. This was no easy task, but the reward was always worth it.
Now that I’m a mom myself, I know better than to leave candy out in plain sight! Kids will go to any length to satisfy their sweet tooth and truth behold I wouldn’t be able to resist myself.
Werther’s Original® now has three brand new flavours out and they come as soft candies! I’m super excited about this, because I don’t give the boys hard candies, and now I can share with my boys the creamy caramel taste of Werther’s Original® that I grew up loving.
Made with fresh butter and real cream Werther’s Original® now come in Chewy Caramels, Soft Crème Caramels and Fudge Caramels, each have their own unique texture to suit every craving. My personal favourite is the Soft Crème Caramels because they seem to just melt in your mouth! It’s no wonder they won the Best New Product award for candy in 2016!
I keep a small stash of these heavenly morsels in my purse so I always have a little treat when I’m out and about, but my favourite way to indulge is to relax at the end of the day with a cup of hot chocolate, a good book and one (or two!) Werther’s Originals®.
