Star Wars Books from DK Publishing

These fun Star Wars Books will be a great incentive to keep your boys reading!

Summertime can be hard when you are trying to find the right balance between giving your kids plenty of time to switch off and trying to keep them active and occupied. While it can be tempting to let them stay plugged in with video games and computers, we also need to limit that time and so it doesn’t get out of hand. After 8 or 9 weeks of vacation, kids can fall into the “summer slump” and find it hard to return to class.

Keep your boys reading this summer with book they will enjoy and be interested in! I find with my own boys, they tend to like books that have short lines of reading over chapter books that can seem intimidating. Graphic novels, search books, quiz style books and info books on their favourite topics, like Star Wars books are more likely to hold their interest.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Incredible Cross-Sections

Star Wars books from DK Publishing are among my sons favourite books. They are hardcover, large sized and packed full of information! With their birthdays right before the school summer break, we gifted the boys one new Star Wars book that they would be able to enjoy all summer long. For lazy days on the deck or in the van during road trips these books have done the trick.

If your boys love Star Wars, they will love these fun Star Wars Jokes, another great way to keep reading this summer!
