Fans of the movie will love these new How To Train Your Dragon Toys from Playmobil!
The boys had a ton of fun with a “How to Train Your Dragon” adventure thanks to our friends at Playmobil! We got to experience the
[easyazon_link identifier=”B079MN74RT” locale=”US” tag=”m0dd5d-20″ localize=”y”]Snotlout and Hookfang[/easyazon_link] set first! The set includes; Snotlout, Hookfang and other accessories like a Viking helmet and shield, a sheep
and bucket of fish. The boys’ absolute favourite accessory was the crossbow with flaming arrows! The boys had hours of fun, soaring
Hookfang around the family room and and randomly diving for sheep!
The set was quite easy to put together with clear photo instructions and the dragon was ready for flight in no time!
The other accessories, including the crossbow and flaming arrows allow for more imaginative play and more than one child playing at the same time either
individually or cooperatively which is a dream for a mom of 4 busy boys!
The boys had a blast either flying Hookfang solo or with Snotlout saddled! The adventures and possibilities seemed to be endless!
My little guy really enjoyed the role play involved with this set and truly brought the characters to life! He absolutely loved outfitting Snotlout
with his helmet, shield, hammer and saddle!
We also had the opportunity to explore the “[easyazon_link identifier=”B079N2S8PN” locale=”US” tag=”m0dd5d-20″ localize=”y”]Gobber the Belch with Sheep Sling[/easyazon_link] “ set! This Sheep Sling is part of Berks’ new exciting sport dragon racing!
The idea is for the dragon teams to dive and catch the sheep when Gobber launches it into the air ! Then they then have to drop it into their corresponding
basket. My youngest didn’t quite get the concept . He preferred just dropping the sheep in the baskets and of course just launching them! This set required
a little more skill to put together, my eldest was up for the challenge. He only needed my help with the wheels.
Overall the boys quite enjoyed these toys and the other Dreamworks Dragons sets that are available would have made the game play
even more exciting! Needless to say the rest of the afternoon was filled with more dragon tales and sheep “baaaaing” and of course a screening of
the “How to Train Your Dragon” movie to keep the fun theme going!
As a busy mom, I’m always looking for new ideas for fun, electronic free entertainment for my boys to enjoy together! These How to Train Your
