Every once in awhile we like to GO BIG! There are occassions when a card simply won’t do! you need to just shout it out! I have the boys put their creativity to work to paint Big murals. Big Brother loves to paint, Middle Man loves to eat paint! lol They go to work on a large piece of paper. The key is to not let the middle get coloured, because that’s where you’ll want to write your message. I use a bit of ‘sticky tack’ (reusable adhesive) to hold down an 81/2 x11 sized piece of paper right in the center. The kids can get paint on it and when they are done it just lifts right off.
Ignore my horrible handwritting here! I didn’t have time to make it look beautiful, I should have, but, you know what? Papa loves it anyway! I added a heart and the boys names after the picture was taken. It is now proudly displayed on Dad’s wall so he can see it everyday as he recovers.
