The boys set to work making Grandma a Mother’s Day gift last week.
Middle Man really enjoyed painting a clay pot, it’s the most he has ever liked painting, so I’m guessing he is more into 3D objects than paper.
It turned out really nice for a 1 year old! When it dried we headed out to the garden to dig up some dwarf iris’. By the time we got to Grandma’s there were 4 flowers blooming. Good Job Middle Man!
Big Brother on the other hand found this fossil-ish looking shell in the garage and wanted to paint it for Grandma. No matter how many colours I gave him, he always mixed them up to be one colour, that kept turning out to be different shades of purple.
What a lovely idea.

My kids paint pots all the time. We put them outside.
I really like this idea of painting a pottery pot, planting a flower in it and giving it to a loved one. This is a really neat idea. Thank you.
I love it!! What mother wouldn’t?!
Good looking and creative idea for Valentines Day.
Creative looking pot for sure.
