okay I take it all back, I now have to eat my words, I was wrong and I will admit, I doubted my Hubster and shouldn’t have!!!
Back on Tuesday when I posted the to die for cake I made for my mom (right here) I may have mentioned that I wouldn’t be lucky enough to get a great dessert like that for Mother’s Day. Well, the Hubby (and the boy’s of course, but let’s face it, daddy was the ringleader here) made my Mother’s Day super special by not just one great dessert, but two and a fabulous breakfast and dinner too!
You did good Hubster, real good, thanks a bunch for making my day special!
The only down side was that I woke up feeling really sick. As the day progressed I was getting worse not better. I guess Little Buddy couldn’t think of anything else to give me, so he gave me his cold. Not exactly what I had in mind. But you know what? being a stay at home mom, sick days are unheard of, so if my prezzie was getting a sick day, I’ll take it! I had a long hot shower, painted my toes, read a magazine, took a nap, cuddled under blankets and took it pretty easy around here.
and no that wasn’t my only present, I was spoiled rotten this year! I got a new camera lens, a replacement swiffer for the ones the kiddos broke awhile back, ice cream cakes and yummy food all around. Just look at how creative my guys got! Surprised me for sure!
