Kid-Basix Safe Sporter

I distinctly remember the day I cleared our shelves of plastic bottles. I felt sick. While I breastfed my babies for months, I still had eventually switched to bottles and here we were, plastic bottles in hand and news reports all over media outlets telling me they could be harmful to my child. We replaced them all and carefully researched our sippy cups too, now we are very used to checking for the BPA free logo.
Kid Basix makes it easy. Eliminate the plastic all together. Because today it’s BPA’s, tomorrow it could be something else.

Kid Basix introduced the Stainless Steel Safe Sippy to the market and has since expanded their line to include the Safe Sippy 2, Safe Sporter and Safe Starter – a stainless steel baby bottle. They carry something for every stage of life from infant to adults.
We are big on water at our house. I drink it constantly during the day and keep two water bottles on the go. When one is empty it gets refilled and popped into the fridge and the cold one comes out. The boys and Hubby each have their own as well. We keep the boys’ bottles in the fridge door so it is nice and low and always accessible to them if they need a drink.
Kid Basix allowed us to test out one of their fantastic stainless steel water bottles. I choose the 16 oz Safe Sporter in a fun flashy yellow. It has a lot of great features including the TPR Sleeve, the Mud Cap to keep the spout clean, Plastic Coaster bottom, and a good wide mouth for easy cleaning and ice cube entry. It irks me to have bottles with a narrow mouth that do not allow ice cubes to fit.
The 16 oz size is a little big and heavy for my 2 & 3 year old, just fine for my 5 year old and perfect for me! Truth be told, Mama stole this one for herself! The Safe Sporter also comes in a 12oz size for the little guys.
Consider a Kid Basix Safe Sporter as the kids head back to school. Lots of schools allow water bottles at the desk and they are perfect for sports as well. The TPR sleeve provides a good grip when on the field but the bottle does sweat quite a bit.
Kid Basix keeps you lookin’ stylish and smart too because carrying a stainless steel reusable bottle saves you money and the environment too.
