Last year my son started school and each week his lunch bag seemed to get stickier and stickier. Often times I would try to wash it in the sink and then lay it outside to dry, but that was not an ideal solution. The answer came from greenCAPP, a Canadian company out of the nation’s capital who created a Bungee Lunch Box/Bag.
Part Lunch bag, part lunch box, the Eco-friendly Bungee Lunch is made up of a durable cotton bag and a reusable BPA-free plastic shell. The shell nestles in the bag to insulate and protect the lunch inside. The innovative bungee design which makes the bag expand to hold as many food containers as you need to pack a complete and nutritious lunch for your children. The Bungee Lunch bag and shell are both machine-washable, which cuts down on smells and stains and eliminates germs.
We received the really cool black spider design. My oldest is really into spiders and has them on his shoes as well, so you know this is a hit at our house. My guy is also a really picky eater and doesn’t eat a whole lot so we actually found that even at it’s smallest size this bag was a little deep for his school lunches and really took up a lot of space in his back pack. What we loved about it is that fact that it can expand so big, and this is just great for when we are travelling on an outing and want to bring along lunch or snacks for all three boys. It even makes room for ice packs to keep drinks cold. Great size for an older child or adult even!
