Searching for the Equal Rollback at Walmart #CBias

Word on the street was, Walmart Canada now carries Equal Sweetener for their customers, and they were celebrating with a Rollback! woot! I love rollbacks so I made it my mission to tackle Walmart Saturday morning with the kids to check it out. ohhh… I hear ya snickering  laughing out loud! Walmart+Kids+Saturday = Torture right? Well, I am happy to report that we made out just fine!


I always check the flyers before heading out to the city to run some errands, that way I can find out what’s on sale and check my coupon stash to see if I have any I need to bring along. I didn’t get a good vibe when my Walmart flyer did not have the Equal Sweetener Canister featured.

Living outside of the city, we only get to a Walmart location once every couple of months so it seems we can never walk out of there without spending over at least $100. We tend to stock up on all of our cleaning and beauty/hygiene supplies. So off we went and arrived at Walmart mid-to-late morning. Of course it was tricky to find a parking spot!

Oh no! Where will we put our Equal Sweetener??
 
We headed for the grocery section of the store and scoured the aisles. We cruised them all without finding our Equal so we headed back around for a second look. Ah-ha! Sugar and Spice and everything nice! Must be here!
 
 
Only it wasn’t 🙁 We were able to locate four other brands of sweetener but not Equal and certainly not the yellow canister that was suppose to be on roll-back for $7.97 from $9.97. Our Walmart is undergoing some renovations so maybe they are holding off on introducing new products until it’s complete. I will be checking back again my next trip in to see if I can find it.
