If you are anything like me your teenage years were spent wearing over sized save the animals tees, applying cherry lip gloss from small round tubs and spritzing on vanilla mist before heading to the movies with friends. Yes, you would be right in guessing that The Body Shop was at the very top of my ‘must visit stores’ mall list.
True Story: once in computer class my friend and I got accused by the teacher for sneaking food at the computer lab. He kept walking by sniffing his way around everyone and decided it was us. We swore up and down we had no food with us and it was finally realized that the Vanilla Mist scent from The Body Shop my friend was wearing was the culprit! phew, that was a close one! lol
What does The Body Shop have in stores these days? They sent me a few items to try out and share!
*This was a nice low scent option for deep conditioning. The container is a wide jar with lid that is a little tricky to juggle in the shower but it does a nice job of conditioning.
Natrulift Refreshing Eye Roll-on Gel – Refresh and hydrate delicate skin under the eyes with a convenient roll-on gel. Cooling, hydrating, brightening, Contains pomegranate extract.
*I really liked this product, the coolness of the metal roller alone feels uplifting. I have had trouble with the under eye area for as long as I can remember and like that I have a product that specifically targets this area.
Extra Virgins Minerals Compact Foundation – This cream-to-powder mineral foundation contains pure minerals and cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil for a smooth, matte finish. It has an ultra-blendable formula and contains a custom brush for flawless application.
*This was super fun to use, I have never applied foundation with a brush before and was excited to try it out. It is very easy to use and has great results.
Vanilla Body Butter Duo – Moisturize your skin with this twin pot that contains two types of moisture: a light cream for where skin needs less hydration and a rich cream for drier areas like elbows and knees. It has a delicious, indulgent scent.
*Everybody’s favourite body butter but better than before because it’s a dual pot and smells great!
Tea Tree Face Mask – Leave skin feeling deeply cleansed and refreshed with an instantly cooling mask that helps remove impurities and absorb excess oil while soothing and calming blemish-prone skin.
I wasn’t able to try this one, but I did try out some Hi Shine Lip Treatments that proved to be a shiny fun gloss!
