{Beauty Bash} Loose Button May Luxe Box

The best part of shopping for beauty products is the selection, there are hundreds if not thousands of shiny tubes and palettes staring back and you and it can be difficult to choose the right product. Ever bought a tube of lipstick, perfume or nail polish only to take it home and discover it’s not really you after all? yeah, me too.
That’s the beauty of the LuxeBox from Loose Button!

The LuxeBox is basically a sample of box of beauty products from all kinds of the beauty industries top brands for you to try out at home at a reasonable cost. If you love it you can head to your local store and pick up a full sized version, if it’s not for you, it’s okay.

A goody bag of beauty brought to your mail box each and every month! That’s a good mail day!

So the LuxeBox comes in a chic little black package that is super fun to both get and open. I’ve had one before that was even personalized with my name on the inside sticker and brochure. This box for March didn’t come like that though, it just said Made for You.

Here’s a look at March’s LuxeBox contents
Cargo – Glitter Top Coat
Take your daytime eye makeup straight into the evening with one sweep of the brush. Infused with coloured iridescent glitter in a transparent base, it can be worn alone or on top of any waterproof eyeliner or eyeshadow.
I actually think this would be too sticky on top of eyeshadow, but it was super fun as an eyeliner and it would be great to get on your eyelashes too for a funky night out with the girls

J.R. Watkins – Hand and Body Lotion
Rich organic formula that provides deep, long lasting moisture and leaves skin naturally smooth, soft and nourished. Contains more than 10 natural oils and extracts.
I don’t mind small bottles of lotion, they are good for travel when you aren’t checking your luggage, but to be honest I didn’t like the smell of this one. I would pass.

Cargo- Eye Shadow Single
Silky, blendable and layerable, provides gorgeous sheer colour that can be built up to the desired intensity.
The colours were really pretty, I was definitely happy about this. I agree that it is very sheer though and is nice for day time use but I don’t think it could ever build up to the consistency I would want for a night out look.

MyScent
In this edition of the LuxeBox, they have a MyScent sampling of three different fragrances. In my box came CK one Shock for Her, Vera Wang Lovestruck and Marc Jacobs OH, LOLA!.
I didn’t care for the CK scent, but I liked the Vera Wang one and just on principle I would never wear the Marc Jacob’s fragrance based solely on their tasteless ad with Dakota Fanning in it. Have you seen this ad? It’s wrong on a million different levels. boycotting.

Okay, so there ya have it. I wouldn’t say I was super excited about the contents in this box, most of the items weren’t really for me, but each and every box is different. I have had one other box before and it came with a full sized China Glaze nail polish so that was really great. If you are a beauty fanatic I do think this would make a really fun purchase for yourself and for any man who just doesn’t know what to buy his lady this is a FANTASTIC gift idea that lasts all year if you want it to. You can’t go wrong!

Subscriptions are currently sold out at the moment, but you can get your name on the wait list. The price range is $12 for 1 month, $36 Quarterly (every 3 months) and $120 Yearly (all 12 months).

The products mentioned above were provided free of charge. Regardless, I was not obligated to feature this item and all opinions expressed belong to Mom vs. the Boys and are not influenced in any way.
