Lavish and Lime: AspenClean Natural Cleaners

April is Earth Month and the perfect time to introduce you all to Aspen Clean, an eco friendly option to household cleaning.

I’ve always been a little skeptical of Natural cleaners, could they really do as good of a job of my current ones? I was eager to put the products to the test.

Grapefruit & Lavender Natural Spray Cleaner & Microfibre Cloth Set-

I’m always at a loss of what to do with All-Purpose cleaners. If they don’t have germ killing capabilities than I prefer not to use them in the kitchen or bathroom. I found the product to smell really nice and used it on our outside glass dining set to get ready for some Spring weather. I am absolutely in love with the co-ordinating microfibre cloth. It feels great and does a fantastic job, just what I was looking for! The cloth is actually specifically designed for use with natural products like these.

Lavender & Tea Tree Superscrub Natural Cleaning Powder

This was actually the first time I have used a natural scrubbing cleaner. I found that the product wasn’t too scratchy and did a really good job on my sinks. It’s always a pet peeve of mine to wash out the stainless steel kitchen sinks only to have a white residue left behind by my regular cleaner. Nothing like needing to clean, after you’ve cleaned. The AspenClean product didn’t do that! I’m super happy to have a new favourite!

Geranium & Orange Natural Liquid Dish Soap

I didn’t think I would like this product at first, the smell wasn’t for me and the product didn’t create the lather of bubbles that I am used to. I couldn’t deny the fact that it did a super job of cleaning the dishes though and continue to use it in the kitchen.

Lime Glass Natural Spray Cleaner & Eco Cloth Set

I really liked this set, the cleaner does a great job and again, I love using the microfiber cloth. The product provided a streak free shine on all of our windows, fixtures and mirrors.

All of the above products products are a full 100% Natural and Made in Canada!

AspenClean products won’t leave behind any toxins, chemical residues or offensive odors. This 100% vegan cleaning spray is derived from plants and minerals and enhanced with the power of essential oils.  This line of natural cleaners from Vancouver company AspenClean is the only one in Canada with the esteemed Ecocert certification from Europe, giving it the stringent accreditation of containing 100% natural ingredients.

About Microfiber: Microfiber cloths work using friction, static energy and capillary effects. Microfiber will trap and remove dust, dirt, oils and bacteria. It is hypoallergenic, lint-free and non-abrasive. Microfiber eliminates up to 99.9% of bacteria and as it requires no soaps or detergents, just water or natural products, its use does not contribute to the contamination of our rivers and oceans. Microfiber is an effective, eco-friendly cleaning solution.
When it comes to green living there are things I am pretty good at like recycling and composting and things I am not so great at, and one of those things is over using paper towels. I am really happy to have found these microfiber clothes that work well and will cut the use of paper towels.

One Canadian will win the Natural Cleaning Products Whole House Cleaning Kit shown above. It’s a great way to get you started on cleaning naturally and a $60 value!
