I love lasagna, it’s right there with speghetti on my list of favourite comfort foods, yet I make speghetti again and again and lasagna hardly ever. Why? you know why, because lasagna is a pain in the butt to make! It’s true though right? All those dishes and all that time it takes, browning meat, simmering sauces, boiling noodles……

These are Olivieri Lasagna Sheets, we used them this weekend for the first time to make our favourite lasagna recipe and while we already thought the dish was pretty great, this made it even better! The pasta is fresh and slips right into the pan with no boiling or manilpulating in anyway, just lay them in there and continue layering. That easy!
The end result is not only delicious but the noodles held up really well and were easy to cut. I was a little bit worried about a sheet of pasta being hard to cut into pieces because usually with the regular strips of noodles we just bring the knife between the rows, but in all honesty, the Olivieri sheets were even easier to cut than regular noodles.
The Olivieri Lasagna Sheets also come in Whole Grain, which I would have gladly purchased if my grocery store carried them. I will be on the look out for these along with the Olivieri Garlic Bread!

The lasagna sheets take the guess work out of making lasagna. It makes the process so much easier!
I use the Lasagna sheets for their intended purpose but I also make my own ravioli with them and a ravioli rolling pin I bought on amazon. I love Olivieri ravioli too but I can make spicy mixtures that aren’t available or use up veggie drawer leftovers!
I love the whole wheat lasagna noodles. Great product and great tasting.
I haven’t tried a new Olivieri product in a long time – we love their tortellini, but the lasagna noodles sound like a fun new dish to try!
