We all know and love Mabel’s Labels for their colourful and durable labels but not only do they keep your kids belongings from getting lost they also carry items to keep your kids safe!
“My 411 Wristbands” are durable, disposable ID bracelets perfect for theme parks and field trips. Personalize with vital information and contact details.
With our family trip to Pennsylvania approaching, I started getting nervous like I always do about keeping the kids safe. We would be visiting amusement parks and museums with large crowds and I worried about them getting lost. I was especially unsettled knowing that this time we didn’t even have the comfort of home turf on our side, we were going to be in another country!
Mabel’s Labels sent us a pack of their My 411 Labels in a ‘Treasure Hunt’ design so for my pirate loving crew, these were pretty fun to put on! They work similar to other wristbands you might get at a venue but these ones are personalized with information to get them safely back to you.
Our labels read: I’m Lost, Please Call: and then listed both mom’s cell number and dad’s cell number. But you can choose what works for you.
I’m embarrassed to say that the one time my three year did wander off in the Mad Hatter’s maze at the children’s museum was the one day we rushed out the door without putting on the wristbands. ack! we were lucky and a staff member found him quickly but I can tell you that is one moment I never ever want to relive! You can be sure we never forgot again!
My 411 Wristbands come in a set of 30 and have these features:
■Water resistant
■Sunscreen resistant
■Chlorine resistant
■Perspiration resistant
■5 original designs
■Satisfaction guaranteed

Big Trips like to the Zoo or going down to the US
Any time we are going somewhere with big crowds!
They very idea of this being necessary gives me chills, but I think I would use them for outings at busy places (zoo etc…) or for school field trips.
Love Mabel labels!
I’d use the wristbands on our family vacation!!
I would give these to my girlfriend who has a child with Autism. I’m sure it would give her some piece of mind.
Thanks for making this open to Canadians.
Besos, Sarah

I would use these wrist bands any time we are heading to a large venue with the kids (zoo, museum, waterpark etc.) where there is a chance that I could get separated from them!
At the splash park and the beach this summer!
Thank you for the entries 😀
Amusement parks and Field Trips

On trips to the zoo or big theme parks, etc., when he can run off in a crowd soooo quickly!
My son has apraxia, so these would provide such peace of mind. He can’t communicate well, so we wouldn’t have to worry in bigger crowds.
I would use them each time I go out…shopping, theme parks, swimming…anything! Love the idea of my son always having a phone number that can be calll
I would use these when ever we go to a heavily populated area…. the park (usually very busy, very open), mall, out and about when out of town, etc.
when we go on field trips
I would probably use these at a mall, or when we go to a play center. My son has a tendency just to leave thinking I left without him.
traveling this summer – the Zoo or the science centre
I would use them for pretty much any outing with the boys (theme park, zoo, museum etc)
When my kids go on school field trips.
at the horse races and at the park
Whenever we go out in a large crowd and even shopping , since a 2 year old just doesn’t like or want to stay in the cart lol
I would use them when hiking
I would use these when our family heads to the Exhibition in Regina. I’m pretty confident about my ability to keep an eye on my boys…everywhere except there! It’s just so busy with so many people running around and so many rides, etc, that I would just feel safer knowing that our boys are prepared just in case!
On trips w/ large groups
Travelling, like you. We’ve been to big events like this where I’ve been worried about losing the girls. These wristbands sound like a great idea! 🙂
