It seemed to take forever for Spring to hit Canada this year, but I had a slight head start on the weather with a two week road trip to Florida. Now that we are back, the warm weather is upon us! Good to be home!
Part of my sunny holiday prep was of course picking the perfect toe nail polish! It’s my favourite part of getting ready for vacation time! I went with with the Nicole by OPI Lit-Teal Bit of Love. It’s a gorgeous vibrant blue colour and was perfect with my sandals and dresses!
Coming home, my pretty toes had taken a beating from the sand and surf of Cocoa Beach. I needed to spruce them up and it was perfect timing that a package from OPI had arrived carrying a few bottles from their new Bond Girls Collection!!

Liquid Sand is quickly becoming my all-time favourite polish, I love the rough texture and shimmering sparkle without the glitter. These are a little more sophistacated than your average glitter polish and I feel like they have a little more lasting power too.
My favourite hue from the entire collection is the coral Jinx – and not just because I have a girl crush on Halle Berry. This colour is a must have for Summer! I love this one on my toes peeking out of my sandals, the colour is bright and cheery with a gold fleck dusting through. Honey Rider is a Gold on Gold with a pretty shimmer. Love the more neutral tone for my finger nails. I wasn’t sent the Solitaire or Tiffany Case colours, but I am dying to try those out. They look fabulous!
It’s recommended to not use a top coat with the Liquid Sand polish, but I actually love the way a shiny top coat looks over these. It really makes the colours pop more vibrantly and helps pick up the flecks of sparkle. I say it’s perfectly fine to wear it either way!
