As a stay at home mom to three young boys, we have to be smart with our money and our time. Shopping consignment is a great way to save a buck, but it still means a trip to the city and these days I do most of my shopping online at home.

I was a little nervous shopping consignment online, knowing that most of the items aren’t brand new, I worried about what kind of condition the clothes would be in. I was pleasantly surprised to find that all of my items arrived in excellent condition, a pair of shorts even came with the original stickers and tags, at a fraction of the price! As per boomerang kids policy – all clothing must be a recent style (last three years), freshly laundered, wrinkle-free and every item accepted for sale in-store and online has been thoroughly inspected by our experienced staff. I picked out three brand name hoodie sweatshirts for the boys to make it through cold Winter we’ve been having and was really happy that I was able to snag some Summer wear as well, with a pair of running shoes, sandals and shorts. For anyone headed South, this is a great way to pick up some beach wear in the dead of Winter. We all know how fast kids can grow in just a couple of months! Clothes that fit in September might be too small for a sunny getaway in March.
Shop Different Seasons
When shopping boomerang kids online, you have access to 5 different locations so the selection is far greater than just popping into one of your local shops. However, you do have to shop one store at a time, as each order is fulfilled from the direct location, so if you see items in a couple different stores, you’ll have to pay shipping for each. Speaking of shipping, it is reasonably prices at a flat rate of $10 for clothing, so load up your carts!

boomerang kids doesn’t just sell used clothes and toys, they also carry a wide range of brand spanking new products as well! With three boys that go to school, we use a lot of lunch containers in a week! That’s 15 packed lunches a week this mama has to make! I was happy to snag a few useful and SUPER CUTE sandwich containers and ice packs from eco kids, a large sized stainless steel waterbottle from klean kanteen and a great Balanced Day lunch bag in a cool hockey design. Dressing up lunches so they are fun for the boys is essential for my picky eaters!
Overall, I was super impressed with boomerang kids! I had a couple little hiccups with my order, but when I contacted the store about it, they went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy customer! I was blown away by the speed of delivery on each seperate order. I believe one package even arrived the very next day!! Yes, next day delivery was not what I expected!

Such a great idea! My problem is always finding two similar things in the same size. With twins they always want similar items!

Totally depends! They love the same shirt in different colours and pants we always by two of the same just to make dressing them easier 🙂

I loved shopping consignment when my kids were little! It was such a great way to save money….especially when kids grow so fast and need new clothing often! How convenient to be able to shop from the comfort of home…that is so cool! It is so much easier….especially in winter when you have to get the kids dressed in all the winter gear for any outing!
