One of my favourite things about the Christmas season is sharing holiday movies and books with the boys. Because they only come out a few weeks out of every year, we love to soak up the holiday stories, cuddled together in bed or on the couch. Each year, I’m on the lookout for new stories to add to our collection and this year it’s Santa’s Zany, Wacky, Just Not Right! Night Before Christmas!
Lakewood, Colorado based author DK Simoneau has teamed with David Radman and written an enchanting, colorful and fun-filled children’s book that sheds a whole new perspective on what it’s like to be Santa on the night before Christmas. It is a story that sparks the imagination with fun and of pondering what might really happen if one event were to set off a series of changes to Christmas as we know it.
As the story goes, Mrs. Claus was under the weather so Santa did his own laundry and by mistake turned his red suit to PURPLE!
This one small change in Christmas might be enough to change the whole holiday as we know it! A series of funny events follow that are sure to get your kiddos giggling!
Santa’s (Zany, Wacky, Just Not Right!) Night Before Christmas is a fun holiday read for the whole family!

Do you like reading new and modern holiday tales or prefer to stick with the classics?
I prefer to read the classics to my grandson and he LOVES them too!
I love the classics but this book sounds so fun and cute! I usually read the newer, modern tales with my son because I think for kids, those are more interesting to them as they start to learn to read.
a mix is good!
This looks like a very cute book! I am going to have to write it down. We have so many Christmas themed books in our house and love them (although not so much when they are brought out in May or June LOL). Thank you for sharing!
I have this book and it’s so cute! My niece loves it!
